I was reminded of this quote (below) today, and it seemed newly to-the-point.

The late great African-American civil rights activist Bayard Rustin made these remarks shortly before his death. He spoke these words in a speech back in 1986. Few were listening then, in the Reagan Era. But the words seem even more appropriate today.
